Role
- We need detail-oriented and organized Inventory Auditors in the team.
- They will be responsible for conducting regular audits of our company’s inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Verify and reconcile physical inventory counts with recorded quantities in the system.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to prevent errors and losses.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing and updating inventory management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Monitor and report on slow-moving or obsolete inventory items.
- Participate in the development and execution of cycle counting procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-3 years as an Inventory Auditor or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
