Job Profile for Inventory Officer
- Plan, organize, direct, manage and evaluate the inventory management activities of the Hospital.
- Develop and communicate inventory management processes, policies and procedures.
- Direct and manage corporate governance and regulatory compliance procedures related to inventory management operations.
- Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the inventory management operations.
- Conduct investigations into inventory management incidents in order to verify and resolve complaints.
- Responsible for actual inventory counts; must be knowledgeable about inventory items to be counted, the counting procedures used, and location of all inventories.
Key Result Areas/ Performance Goals:
- Average % of explainable stock variances
- Number of times management reports are delivered within prescribed TAT
- Inventory Turnover
- Number of pending postings
- Inventory days of supply
Job Qualifications
- First Degree or Equivalent in any discipline but preferably a numerate discipline
- CISPM is desirable
- 2-4 years’ experience is desirable.
