Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock movements (receipts, transfers, consumption, and adjustments) are properly recorded in SAP ERP.
- Perform regular stock reconciliations between physical inventory and system records, identifying and resolving variances.
- Analyze Material Usage Variance (MUV) and other inventory performance metrics, providing insights to management.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and production teams to ensure real-time updates on stock levels.
- Monitor and report on slow-moving, obsolete, and excessive stock, making recommendations for optimization.
- Support month-end and year-end inventory audits, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and SAP ERP.
- Work with procurement and finance teams to align inventory records with purchasing and costing data.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum HND or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP (SAP MM, SAP PP) is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in variance analysis and reporting.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and familiarity with Power BI is an advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with warehouse, finance, and procurement teams.
Preferred Certifications
- SAP ERP Logistics / Supply Chain Management certification.
- Lean Inventory Management or Warehouse Management certifications (LinkedIn, Udemy, or similar platforms).
