IT Support Officer at Health Connect 24×7

Job Summary

  • The IT Support is responsible for providing technical support for a range of business technology, including computer systems (hardware and software), network infrastructure, telecommunications circuits, mobile devices, telephone systems, and audio-visual equipment used at Health Connect 24×7.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
  • Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests
  • Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone)
  • Setting up accounts for new users
  • Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary
  • Testing new technology
  • IT asset management, which includes IT inventory management
  • Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance/checks
  • Communicate any service disruptions to users and other relevant policies
  • Oversee the issuance and return of IT assets to/from staff and record all asset movements and disposals of IT equipment.
  • Planning and executing hardware and software upgrades
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Maintaining IT operations such as applications, email systems, hardware, and software.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Educational Requirements

  • Degree (Information Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related technical degree) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ITIL/Certification is an added advantage.

Work Experience:

  • 1 – 2 years of proven experience in a similar IT support role.

Identify preferred requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot a computer, printers, and network issues is an advantage
  • Ability to manage rotational work shifts
  • Good understanding of IT operational processes in a structured environment.

  • Organized and meticulous
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and manage self.

Remuneration
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly Gross Pay.
