JAMB denies 2023 recruitment reports

by Alice Babalola

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a statement through its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, refuting claims of its involvement in any recruitment activities.

The Board categorically denies engaging in recruitment at present, either directly or through any external entities.

JAMB strongly advises the general public to disregard any information suggesting otherwise. It explicitly states that it has not authorized or contracted any individual or organization to carry out recruitment on its behalf in any of its offices.

Furthermore, JAMB warns that severe legal actions will be taken against anyone discovered to be involved in such illicit practices.

According to the statement, the Board became aware of an employment syndicate operating in Akure, Ondo State, under the name “Akure Job and Business Advert Forum.”

This syndicate falsely claims to have been commissioned by JAMB’s Ondo State Office to advertise secretarial and clerical job vacancies within the Board.

JAMB clarifies that it has no association with this group or any similar platforms.

JAMB urges the public to exercise caution and remain vigilant against the fraudulent activities of individuals seeking to exploit unsuspecting job seekers.

The Board reiterates that all official notifications are communicated solely through its approved channels.
