Japa: British Council in Nigeria announces fees increase for IELTS

The British Council in Nigeria has announced a second fee increase for the English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination within five months.

According to a recent statement on its official website, the new fees of N139,000 for both computer academic and general training modules will be implemented starting February 1, 2024.

The council attributes this adjustment to the escalating examination costs, marking the latest change in fees since the previous hike in September 2023, when the fee increased from a range of N80,000 to N90,000 to the current N107,500.
