Representative of Kogi State Central, Senator Ahmed Ogembe, on Friday survived a car collision along the Abuja-Lokoja Street on his approach to Okene for election.
Mr Duke Opeyemi, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Senator, unveiled this in a phone interview with newsmen on Friday in Lokoja.
He said that the mishap happened at 9 a.m. on Friday, at Gegu community group in Kotonkarfe LGA of Kogi state.
As indicated by Opeyemi, his impenetrable vehicle somersaulted a few times, however the Senator and other occupant of the vehicle turned out alive and safe.
The representative offered thanks to God for sparing his life and that of the general people with him.
He appealed to God for a greater amount of God’s security over his life, his family and the whole individuals of his constituents and Kogi state on the loose.
Reports have it that Ogembe is looking for re-appointment under the stage of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 National Assembly decision in Kogi State focal.
