Lagos govt shutdown Quilox nightclub

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency has sealed off Club Quilox at Victoria Island, Lagos for noise pollution and traffic congestion.

The Special Adviser to the governor on New Media, Jubril Gawat, made this known in a tweet on Monday.

In the tweet: “The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (@LasepaInfo) has sealed popular Club Quilox, Victoria Island over Noise Pollution and Traffic Congestion.”

Meanwhile, Police in Lagos State has earlier arrested the owner of the club, Shina Peller, who is a member of the House of Representative, over a 36-hour party held by the club.
