As Nigerians are preparing to celebrate Christmas, the Lagos government is set to crash the price of rice so that residents of the state can buy it at an affordable price.
According to the public relations officer of the Ministry of Agriculture, Jide Lawal, Lagos state government is taking delivery of LAKE rice, in preparation for Christmas celebration.
He said the rice will be available at some sale centres across the state. He gave the locations as:
1. Agricultural Development Authority Complex, Oko-Oba
2. Lagos State Agriculture Inputs Supply Authority (LAISA)
3. Ojo and the Blue Roof at Lagos Television (LTV) complex, Agidingbi, Ikeja.
4. Temu Farm Service Centre, Epe; Odogunyan Farm Service Centre, Ikorodu
5. Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere
6. Ministry of Agriculture Area Office, Ajah
7. Mobolaji Johnson Sports Centre, Rowe Park, Yaba.
