Maina’s lawyer officially withdraws from his trial

Mr Adeola Adedipe, counsel to former Chairman of the Pension Reform Task team Abdulrasheed Maina has officially withdrawn from his trial

Adedipe who applied to withdraw from the money laundering case brought against Maina and his company Common Inputs Ltd by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), was granted leave by the federal high court on Thursday, December 3.

He was granted leave on grounds of him not being paid for his services and being unable to locate Mr Maina who engaged him to represent the company listed as the second defendant in the case.
