Maintenance Mechanical Engineer/Technician at Chris Ejik Group of Companies

Role Description

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Mechanical Engineer/ Technician. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Maintenance team and your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Conduct fault finding and troubleshooting during production processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance technicians and operators.
  • Perform planned and predictive maintenance activities, conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Assess spare parts requirements and manage inventory effectively.
  • Prioritize workload and utilize resources optimally.
  • Adhere to relevant legislation, company policies, and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and liaise with coordinators to establish requirements.

Qualifications

  • Time served apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • General level education GCSE/O level or equivalent.
  • BSC/HND/ND or equivalent in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Computer literate.
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical equipment Processing and manufacturing, electrical circuits.
  • Multi skilled in basic mechanical, electrical practices, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC/ RAC system, PLC, AC drive and troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • General Tool Usage.
