Maintenance Supervisor at TRANOS

Job Summary

This role ensures that all machinery and equipment are running efficiently and effectively combining technical expertise, leadership, and management skills.

Job Details

  • Oversee a team of maintenance technicians providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a scheduling routine and preventive maintenance of all company equipment, estimating work and technical assistance when developing job plans.
  • Interface with equipment manufacturers to get technical support when there is an issue with a machine.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure that all work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Ensure all equipment and machinery is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment and machinery.
  • Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to avoid disruptions in the production process.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance tasks, including routine inspections, repairs, and overhauls.
  • Manage the inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring that necessary items are always in stock.
  • Work with vendors and suppliers to order parts and materials as needed.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repairs.
  • Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance, costs, and any issues that arise.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes, reduce costs, and increase equipment reliability.
  • Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.

Requirements

  • A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial maintenance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Previous experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in supervising a team and managing maintenance operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with other departments.
  • Ability to diagnose and solve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
