JOB DUTIES:
- Supervise and lead a team of merchandisers.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Collaborate with management to align merchandising activities with overall business goals.
- Collect and analyze sales data, inventory turnover, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Utilize analytical tools and software to derive insights into product performance, customer preferences, and market trends.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports, highlighting top-performing and underperforming products.
- Provide analysis on factors influencing sales fluctuations and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and aging stock.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and propose action plans to address these issues.
- Track the effectiveness of promotions and pricing strategies through weekly and monthly reports.
- Evaluate the impact of discounts, special offers, and pricing changes on sales and profitability.
- Assess the impact of visual merchandising efforts through regular reports.
- Measure the success of product displays and adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Include updates on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences in regular reports.
- Use market research insights to adapt merchandising strategies as needed.

QUALIFICATION &REQUIREMENT
- HND/BSC
- 2-4 years’ experience as a Merchandizer’s Supervisor
- Computer literacy,
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Merchandizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with Retail management software and databases
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
