Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics related fields or an area of social science or its equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years experience of working in M&E with experience in developing M&E plans, quantitative and qualitative data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Good experience in monitoring and evaluation of community-based interventions is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, and other Statistical software.
- Demonstrated skills in data management and quantitative data analysis
- Excellent communication skills in written and oral communication
- The candidate must display the ability to effectively prioritize and perform tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to draw up Monitoring and Evaluation plans for intervention proposals/concept notes
Job Description
- Build the capacity of the subordinates in the field of M & E and relevant tasks.
- Organize M & E activities and direct the field officers for conducting M & E visits to target communities.
- Supervise Field officers and share field findings and recommendations with the relevant department through monitoring reports.
- Ensure to collect and verify necessary data of targeted areas at the beginning and the end of every month.
- Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly monitoring plans.
- Support field teams to prepare case studies on successes and lessons learned.
- Conduct interviews, when necessary, with community elders/influencers and record their feedback and share their feedback with senior management.
- Ensure that all the captured data is stored and well-documented for periodic reporting.
- Perform any other duties as identified by the Program Manager
