The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has denied the report that they have released Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile and three others who were arrested early Friday morning.
On Friday we reported that the EFCC arrested Nigeria artistes Naira Marley along side Zlatan Ibile and three others for alleged financial crimes. However, yesterday evening, it was being rumoured that the anti graft agency had released them.
The EFCC’s acting Head, Media and Publicity, Tony Orilade in an interview with Punch on Saturday, confirmed that the artistes have not been released.
Oriade said “They are still with us as we are talking. They are still with us. When they are released, I will let you know.”.
