NECO releases 2020 SSCE results

The National Examinations Council (NECO) on Thursday released results for the 2020 Senior School Certificate Examination for external candidates.

This was announced by the board’s Registrar, Prof Godswill Obioma at the council headquarters in Minna, Niger State, according to a statement by its Head, Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani.

He disclosed that a total of 41,459 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 39,503 actually sat, and 26,277 out of candidates who wrote the examination, obtained five credits and above including in English Language and Mathematics.

The statement also disclosed that 6,465 cases of examination malpractices were recorded in 2020 as against 17,004 cases in 2019.
