We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nursery School Lead to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of early childhood education, and extensive knowledge of the British Nursery Curriculum.

As a Nursery Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursery, ensuring the delivery of highquality educational experiences that promote the social, emotional, and intellectual development of young learners.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  •  Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  •  Develop and implement a rich, engaging curriculum based on the British Nursery Curriculum framework.
  •  Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive and develop holistically.
  •  Collaborate with staff to plan and execute ageappropriate learning activities and assessments.
  •  Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain high standards of care and education.
  •  Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s progress.
  •  Promote a positive, inclusive culture within the nursery that supports both staff and students.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (B.Ed or equivalent). A PGDE (Postgraduate Diploma in Education) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a leadership role within a nursery or early childhood education setting.
  • Proven experience with the British Nursery Curriculum, including planning, assessment, and delivery.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a team of educators.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, staff, and parents.
  • A deep understanding of child development and ageappropriate teaching strategies.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology for educational purposes and administrative tasks.
  • Passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing a nurturing learning environment.
  • Capable of driving continuous improvement within the nursery to enhance the overall educational experience.
