The Grassroots Empowerment Initiative for Positive Change and Development has called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to annul the February 23rd 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections in the Benue North West senatorial district.
The group was one of the accredited election observers for the poll.
The group’s team leader, Mr Jimmy Feyisola-George, made this request at a press conference in Makurdi.
Feyisola-George noted that the cancellation was necessary after the group observed that elections in the zone were flawed by inconsistencies and irregularities.
