Oby Ezekwesili reacts to Omoyele Sowore arrest

Oby Ezekwesili has reacted to the report of operatives of the Department of State Services arresting Omoyele Sowore, over a planned protest on August 5.

Reacting to the alleged arrest of the AAC’s presidential candidate in the February 2019 General Elections, Oby Ezekwesili, who was also a one time presidential candidate took to her Twitter page to warn against the ‘unconstitutional habit of repression against citizens rights’.

She tweeted “@AsoRock ought to know that they cannot sustain this unconstitutional habit of repression against #CitizensRights. All these persistent acts of @NGRPresident to shrink the Public Space with rabid level of intolerance for dissension will surely fail.”
