Odunmbaku inducts Ojodu agricultural training participants

Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, David Odunnbaku Segun (DOS), on Monday, inducted the council participants for Agricultural training.

The training is in conjunction with the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture for young people, retirees, entrepreneurs, graduates and secondary school leavers.

This is one of several farmers training lineup by Odunmbaku’s administration, the training will be done periodically.

The training includes Crops, Pig, Fish, Cattle, Sheep and Goat, Snail, Rabbit/Grasscutter, Mitigation Action Strategies for Impacts of Climate Change and Farm Management started on Monday, September 5, 2022, and is expected to take place for four weeks at the Farm Service Centre, Agege, Lagos.

The council boss who was represented at the inauguration by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, assured the participants of his total support for the training.

He said Odunmbaku has taken care of the participants’ training fees, and provided stipends for the participants throughout the training.

Also at the meeting include the council’s supervisory councillor for Agriculture, Hon. Wale Larinde and Lagos State Youth Ambassador Ojodu LCDA, Mr Apanpa Luqmon.
