Ojodu LCDA Chairman Hosts New DPO of Ojodu Police Station

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, today hosted the new Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ojodu Police Station, CSP Opadola Elizabeth.

The purpose of the meeting was to formally welcome the DPO to the community and discuss ways to enhance security in the area.

During the meeting, the Council Chairman emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Police and the Local Government in ensuring the safety and security of residents.

Hon Segun Odunmbaku shared his vision for a safer and more peaceful community, stating that the LCDA would continue to provide necessary support like patrol vehicles and equipments to the Police in carrying out their duties effectively. He also urged the DPO to maintain a good relationship with residents, as their cooperation is vital in fighting crime and maintaining law and order.

CSP Opadola in turn, expressed her commitment to the task at hand and assured the Chairman that she would work diligently to protect the lives and properties in the community while pledging to strengthen the existing partnership between the Police and Local Government as well as foster a closer relationship with residents.

Both the Council Chairman and the DPO discussed various strategies to improve security, including increased police patrols, community policing initiatives, and the establishment of a security hotline for residents to report any suspicious activities.

They also agreed in continuing to organize regular security meetings to address emerging security challenges and devise appropriate solutions for a more secured Ojodu LCDA.
