Ojodu LCDA Chairman Meets With Artisans Association

The Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon Segun Odunmbaku today met with the Artisan Association Of Nigeria, Ojodu LCDA branch at the Council Secretariat Okeira, Ogba.

Artisan Association Of Nigeria is the umbrella organisation of all trades and artisan professions in the country and are well represented across all Local Governments in the Nation.

The Mayor who hosted the association in company of the Vice Chairman of the council, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi said his government values the professionals as key players in the economy and seek closer ties with them in the people oriented leadership of his administration.

He further spoke about his familiarity with the challenges of the informal sector and plans for training programme for unemployed community youths in partnership with the association, support with modern equipments and engagement of thier members to ensure local content in contracts for socioeconomic development.

Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi tasked the association on strengthening their unity, registration and mobilisation of more artisans into their folds while appreciating thier commitments to civic responsibility in the community.

Chairman of the association, Mr Dauda Iyanda pledged support towards the administration of Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, guaranteed closer relationship and appreciated the sustainable development model of the government’s policies.

In attendance at the meeting are the Council Manager, Engr Dele Abayomi and Supervisor For Works, Hon. Bode Olaniyan.
