Ojodu LCDA hosts Stakeholders forum in preparation for 2023 Budget

The Chairman, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku and the Executive Committee, Legislators, Management Team and the entire Staff of the Ojodu Local Council Development Area hosted representatives of all segments in Ojodu to a “Stakeholders Forum In Preparation For Year 2023 Budget”

The Chairman of the LCDA in his welcome speech to stakeholders at the interactive session said the ultimate aim of his administration is for the betterment of Ojodu LCDA by running an inclusive government while highlighting the achievements recorded with the last budget by prioritizing people oriented projects in line with the H.E.Y.S agenda through the renovations of Primary Health Centers, provision of vehicles to Police Stations procurement of ambulance and provision of GCE Forms to students.

Hon. Segun Odunmbaku further said “contributions needed from community stakeholders are to formulate and conceptualise a more people oriented budget and that the interactive session is to further bridge the gap between government and the governed by receiving suggestions from the community on how to better allocate resources towards socioeconomic development of Ojodu LCDA.”

The stakeholders programme was put in place to evaluate the past budgeting year and specifically receive inputs from the cross section of Ojodu LCDA residents on how to tailor the next budget towards the needs of the people which had in attendance, members of the CDA & CDC, political leaders, youth and women leaders, artisans and market women, religious and traditional leaders taking turns in praising Hon. Segun Odunmbaku and his administration for record performance in office for the past one year while proffering ideas and submitting inputs for inclusion in the budget.
