The Ojodu Local Government Council Development Area on Wednesday swore in the new Secretary to the Local Government, Supervisors and Special Advisers to form the Executive Council (EC).
The new executive cabinet members who were sworn in by the Ojodu Chairman, Hon. Olusegun Odunmbaku were tasked to work in tandem with the administration’s vision and policy thrust in order to satisfy the teaming yearnings of the good citizens of Ojodu LCDA, as captured in the HEYS Agenda (Health, Education, Youth Empowerment and Social Infrastructure).
The Chairman said: “Consider your new position as a call to service; your best is required in the new tasks given to you. You have to key into our administration’s vision and policy thrusts. You also need to evolve strategies that will boost the efficiency and productivity of Ojodu LCDA”.
The Mayor also preached against partisanship and politics of calumny while calling for synergy and unity as the newly inaugurated team comes on board to further carve better headways for the LCDA through innovative ideas and ideologies
The screening exercise and swearing-in ceremony were attended by notable dignitaries in society, such as Vice-Chairman, Hon. Bunmi Oluyadi, Chairman All Progressives Congress (APC) Ojodu LCDA, Gbemi Lolade, APC Chieftain, Chief Oludele Sonola, former Director, LAMATA & APC Chieftain, Hon. Tayo Orekoya, Hon Michael Akindele, Mr. Solomon Soremekun, and the Council-Manager, Engr. Dele Abayomi.
The newly sworn-in Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) was Olaide Bello; Supervisors were Olaniyan Olabode, Wasiu Seidu, Tunji Kogbodoku, Seye Oyekan, Dayo Olanrewaju, Wale Abdulsalam, Folake Adams, Badru Jemilat, and Wale Larinde; while the Special Advisers were Femi Fadeyi, Folayomi Sonola, Tunde Ogunbiyi, and Toluwase Dada.
While delivering the Vote of Thanks on behalf of the new Executive Members, Femi Fadeyi appreciated the call to serve the people and also emphasized the team’s commitment and allegiance to the course, call, vision, and aspirations of the Executive Chairman.
