About the job
- As an Outside Sales Engineer, in Nigeria (Lagos), your mission is to establish Eaton as a market leader in the low voltage segment in Nigeria by managing Eaton’s reputation and sales in complex, multiproduct projects.
What You’ll Do
- Be responsible for low voltage business sales and development;
- Ensure pull through business from Contractors, Panel builders, OEM;
- Connect multiple stakeholders in projects, ensuring high standards and proper execution;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Quality, SCM and Marketing to ensure proper execution of the project;
- Be responsible for identifying new Customers, Training, Ensuring product utilization;
- Coordinate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, BOM, and verification of the same with Panel builders, OEM;
- Incorporate new products and specification to enlarge product portfolio in the market;
- Interact with customers and provides techno commercial guidance on offer management related queries;
- Create standard processes and tools to ensure quality teamwork;
- Support Other BU commercial team to maximize solution coverage;
- Drive a proactive approach on customer requirements;
- Drive business by continues learning and updating on industry trends.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering;
- 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Skills
- Electrical experience with low voltage Systems;
- Experience in a similar position;
- Strong contractors network;
- Knowledge in Switchgear estimation;
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Expert in product optimization;
- Customer centricity;
- Self-motivated, independent and proactive;
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
