Party agents exchange blows at Imo collation centre

The Imo State Collation Centre in Owerri, the state capital, was thrown into disarray as two party agents exchanged blows on Sunday.

The collation, led by the returning officer, Prof Abayomi Fasina, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University in Oye, Ekiti, began at 2:40 am on Sunday.

The process, which commenced amidst party agent protests, has been marred by controversies since it started.

One of the agents can be heard saying, “Where are we rushing to?”

During the event, a physical altercation broke out between two party agents, resulting in their removal from the venue.

The names of the individuals involved could not be determined at the time of filing this report.
