In a bid to steer youth away from criminal activities, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has unveiled Dove FC, a football club.
The unveiling of Dove FC took place over the weekend at the Redeemed Camp in Lagos State, with players chosen from across the nation, aged 16-21, aimed at nurturing their potential for future professional careers.
During the event, Pastor Adeboye emphasized the importance of serving God over material pursuits, asserting that true success is achieved through divine guidance.
Prince Dapo Ajibade, the chairman of Dove FC, expressed aspirations for the team to make a global impact under the church’s guidance, with the aim of becoming a prominent brand worldwide.
“By the special grace of God and with the support of the GO, Dove FC will expand to become the biggest brand in the world,” he said.
