The Imo state police command has arrested one Pastor Joseph Anthony of the Living Faith Church in Njaba, a community in the state, for allegedly raping one Favour Chikanma, the 11-year-old daughter of his fellow pastor, one Pastor Chukwuma Okoronkwo.
A statement from the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Orlando Ikeokwu, says that Anthony was arrested on July 13.
The statement read “Preliminary investigations revealed that the said Pastor Chukwuma Okoronkwo accommodated Pastor Joseph Anthony in their house and on the day of the incident, the said Pastor Joseph Anthony took advantage of the fact that he was at home alone with the victim and had canal knowledge of her. The investigation is at an advanced stage. He will be charged to court accordingly”
