Pharmacist Manager at Wellness Health Management Services

Job Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacist Manager with medical sales experience to join our team at our location in Ikota, Ajah, Lagos State.
  • The ideal candidate will be a licensed pharmacist with a strong background in pharmaceutical management and sales, as well as a passion for promoting health and wellness.

Responsibilities
Pharmacy Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing medications, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing processes, including prescription verification, dosage calculations, and drug interactions screening.
  • Supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff, and provide guidance and support as needed.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base for pharmaceutical products and healthcare services.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and strategic partnerships to enhance the company’s market presence and competitive advantage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, medical professionals, and key stakeholders in the community to promote our products and services.

Customer Service and Patient Care:

  • Provide exceptional customer service and patient care, including medication counseling, health education, and disease management support.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, and ensure customer satisfaction with pharmacy services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and promote wellness initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards governing pharmacy practice, including licensure requirements, drug dispensing protocols, and medication safety guidelines.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain pharmacy accreditation and certification, and implement corrective actions as needed to address deficiencies.
  • Monitor medication storage conditions, expiration dates, and proper handling procedures to maintain product quality and integrity.

Team Leadership and Training:

  • Lead and motivate the pharmacy team to achieve performance goals, meet productivity targets, and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for pharmacy staff to enhance their clinical skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the pharmacy team to ensure optimal workflow efficiency and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharmacology Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria issued by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
  • 3-5 years of experience in pharmacy management and medical sales, preferably in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting.
  • Strong business acumen and sales aptitude, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and pharmacy management software systems.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and promoting health and wellness in the community.
