Pharmacologist at Wellness Health Management Services

Job Description

  • Wellness Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacologistto join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of pharmacy experience and reside around the Maryland, Lagos.
  • This role involves dispensing medications, providing pharmaceutical care to patients, and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Our operation hours are from 9am to 9pm and we operate in shift.

Key Responsibilities
Medication Dispensing:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
  • Provide detailed information on proper medication usage, dosage, and potential side effects.

Patient Counseling:

  • Offer expert advice and counseling to patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  • Address patient concerns and questions regarding their medications.

Pharmaceutical Care:

  • Monitor patient medication therapies to ensure effectiveness and safety.
  • Conduct medication reviews and manage drug interactions.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Ensure the proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to pharmacy practice.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of medications and patient information.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Continuous Education:

  • Stay updated with the latest developments in pharmacy practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training programs.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a pharmacist.
  • Licensure: Current and valid license to practice pharmacy in Nigeria.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must reside in or around Maryland, Lagos.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using pharmacy management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
