Job Description
- Dispensing of drugs in accordance to doctor’s prescription
- Preparing, dispensing, distributing, and administering medications according to Doctor’s prescription
- Counsel the patient and advise on adherence to usage as prescribed to avoid resistance and explain to them the possible side effects of each drug.
- Taking stock daily to determine the stock level of drugs.
- Recording of drug items supplied to out-patients (HMO, Company patients) and in-patients.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, ensuring the First-in-First-Out (FIFO) system is strictly adhered to, and anticipating needed medications.
- Maintains a clean and safe pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Strict adherence to the usage of EMR.
- Ensure all medications are kept at the right temperature.
- Weekly submission of sales report.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a National Diploma in Pharmacy Technology.
- 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced organization.
