Presidency releases statistical representation of Buhari’s appointees

The Presidency has released a statistical representation of Buhari’s appointees in different regions, days after former Military Governor of Kaduna State Col. Abubakar Umar’s open letter to the Nigerian leader.

Col. Abubakar Umar (retd) who urged the President to emulate the administration of the late Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Olusegun Obasanjo (Military Government) and the late Alhaji Shehu Shagari in terms of appointments, stated that Nigeria has become dangerously polarised and risk sliding into crisis on account of Buhari’s “lopsided appointments”

Following the controversy that trailed the former Military Governor’s open letter, the Presidency has now released a statiscal representation of Buhari’s appointees.


In total, the South got 54.2% of President Buhari appointments while the north got 45.8%. See more pictorial representation below;
