President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated Mr Ayuba Wabba on his re-election as President of Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC).
This congratulatory message was issued in a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, in Abuja, congratulating other members of the National Executive Committee for their election and re-election.
He added that he hoping to working personally with Wabba, NLC Central Working Committee (CWC) and the National Executive Council of the Congress to accomplish the plans of partnership between government and labour, wishing them tenure full of success.
The new executive will run the tenure from 2019 to 2023 to lead the workers’ union.
Wabba was returned unopposed as the President of NLC by delegates at the 12th Delegates conference of NLC in Abuja.
