Role Context
The Pricing Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth through a strong yield focus and pricing discipline, developing pricing strategies in line with the organisational strategy and market dynamics.
The Pricing Manager must also ensure that all countries in their area complies with the Global Pricing Policies.
Key responsibilities
Define pricing strategies in line with the organisational strategy to drive profitable growth while maintaining or increasing market share
Monthly reviews of pricing KPIs with a clear action to consistently improve pricing levers to support organisational revenue objectives.
Lead annual GPI process ensuring timely and accurate implementation with good compliance
Analysis of internal and external data to derive actionable insights towards adapting the pricing strategy in line with changing market dynamics and competitor actions
- Conduct annual strategic pricing alignment (SPA) workshops projects to validate pricing strategy in line with market performance, competitor actions and DHL performance to determine price setting and areas of focus for price execution
- Collaboration with commercial teams to identify changes in market dynamics or competitor actions in order to adapt pricing strategies as well as address pricing issues related to profitable revenue growth
- Provide visibility to commercial teams on pricing performance with clear recommended actions to improve pricing levers

- Strong data analytics skills, including proficiency analysing data from digital platforms, translating into actionable insights and adopting new technologies.
- Strong project management skills and ability to work to tight deadlines, ensuring timely delivery and effective execution, and deliver at pace across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Expected years of experience
- Graduate with strong analytical background, preferably a post graduate degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- 3 – 5 years experience in pricing/commercial (desirable with DHL) or finance experience.
