- The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the procurement of local products and services, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, quality assurance, and timely delivery. This role involves supplier management, price negotiation, and coordination from sourcing to warehouse delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure products from Nigeria, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency.
- Ensure timely arrival of procured goods and services from suppliers to the warehouse.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluating performance and ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Oversee the procurement of local services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate logistics and inventory flow to meet operational demands.
- Implement procurement best practices to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably within local sourcing.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple procurement activities.
