- The role of a Product Development Manager is crucial in ensuring that pharmaceutical products are developed, launched, and managed effectively, with a focus on delivering safe, effective, and profitable solutions to the market.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct and continuously monitor the pharmaceutical market, understand customer needs, emerging market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Contributing to annual brand plan for company’s products
- Create and manage a product development roadmap, ensuring product milestones are met.
- Plan and execute the product launch, including developing marketing strategies
- Managing and updating product knowledge of the field force.
- Develop promotional materials as approved and execute production
- Organizing regular Local Clinical Meeting as per annual calendar
Analysis
- Market data gathering
- Expenditure monitoring and control with respect to budgets planned for the year for promotional activities on a quarterly basis.
- Market research for ensuring successful new products launches
- Benchmarking Company products vs Key Competitors’
- Competitor activity; feedback to be sent to Sales & Marketing Director every month
- Sales analysis- territory, brands and feedback to be presented to salesforce and Sales & Marketing Director on a monthly basis
- Remuneration Package: Competitive industry standard pay, depending on experience and skills
