Role Description
- This is a full-time hybrid role for a Product Manager at SoftAlliance. The Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and prioritizing product requirements, and defining the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Define the product vision and roadmap for payment solutions.
- Align the product strategy with business goals, market trends, and customer needs.
Product Development & Execution:
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and design to launch and continuous improvement.
- Develop product requirement documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure the product is delivered on time and meets quality standards.
Payments & Compliance Expertise:
- Ensure that payment products meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Integrate payment APIs and collaborate with partners, such as banks and payment gateways.
Market & User Research:
- Conduct research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and emerging payment technologies.
- Use feedback from users and data analytics to continuously improve the product.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
- Work with internal stakeholders, including business development, marketing, and legal teams, to support product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with external payment providers, vendors, and third-party integrations.
Monitoring & Optimization:
- Track product performance using KPIs like transaction success rates, payment latency, and user satisfaction.
- Drive innovation and improvements to enhance the payment experience for customers.
Qualifications
- Product Management, Agile Methodologies, and Software Development Lifecycle knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- 3-5 years of experience managing payment products in fintech or financial services.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, gateways, APIs, and digital wallets.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, KYC/AML, and local payment regulations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and a customer-first mindset.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) are a plus
