Job Details
- Manage and optimize production schedules to meet demand while minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate production staff to achieve performance targets and uphold quality standards.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Monitor production metrics and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality assurance, maintenance, and logistics to resolve production issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff.
- Oversee inventory management and procurement of raw materials to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize production disruptions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key metrics and KPIs, to senior management
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Masters/MBA is an added advantage.
- At least 6 years of experience working in manufacturing, with experience in beverage production considered an added advantage with proven experience in production management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
