Role Overview
- As a Remote Solar Project Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing solar power projects, with a specific focus on high-end Chinese inverters such as Deye, among others.
- This role offers the flexibility of remote work, with occasional reporting to our office as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project management team to develop comprehensive solar power project plans, considering client requirements, site conditions, and technical specifications.
- Conduct detailed site assessments and feasibility studies, evaluating factors like sun exposure, shading, and grid connection possibilities.
- Design and engineer solar photovoltaic systems, including selecting appropriate components, sizing inverters, and optimizing system layout.
- Expertise in working with high-end Chinese inverters, ensuring seamless integration and performance optimization.
- Provide technical support during project implementation, overseeing installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Generate detailed project documentation, including engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, procurement, and project management, to ensure project success.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field
- 2 – 5 years of experience as a Solar project Engineer
- A strong grasp of photovoltaic systems, thermal power technology
- Good knowledge of project documentation, engineering drawings, technical reports, and as-built documentation.
