Salary Range: ₦750,000 – ₦1,000,000/month
The Project Manager is responsible for various construction, utilities and general projects throughout the development lifecycle at Alaro City. This will be done through effective management of the set budgets and timelines, in conjunction with service providers (where relevant) and Alaro City management.
Other responsibilities include:
- Ensure successful completion of assigned projects in terms of cost, quality, and HSE.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, licensing authorities, and management to determine specifications, risks, and required resources for the projects.
- In charge of end-to-end programme and execution of assigned projects.
- Daily controls of project quality, financials, production efficiency, and project management systems and reporting.
- Ensure daily/weekly and monthly meetings and reports are done as per the organization standards, schedule, and deadlines.
- In charge of project briefs, coordination of designs, BoQs, and just-in-time procurement processes.
- Ensure responsibilities of Consultants, Contractors, and Sub-contractors are clearly agreed.
- Smooth coordination and management of projects team, personnel, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
- Collaborate with the QS to prepare, monitor and control project costs and budgets
REQUIREMENTS
- Hard skills and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil or architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent degree.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in medium to large scale infrastructure works including roads, bridges, dams, sewer, storm drainage, and MEP.
- Experience and implementation of design software such as AutoCAD and Project Management software like MS Project, Primavera, Procore including.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Membership with a statutory accreditation body will be an added advantage including but not limited to AAK, EBK, IEK among others.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Requires 24-hour response availability, seven days a week.
