Job Description
Project Coordination and Management:
- Lead the planning, execution, and closure of IT product and software development projects.
- Manage projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies, adapting approaches as necessary to suit project demands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and quality assurance personnel.
Team Leadership:
- Guide, motivate, and oversee project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and task allocation.
- Facilitate team meetings and Agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives) to monitor project progress and address issues.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a primary contact for project stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication regarding project status and changes.
- Work closely with product owners and senior management to define project objectives and deliverables.
Risk and Change Management:
- Proactively identify and address potential project risks and challenges.
- Implement change management processes as needed to accommodate project scope adjustments.
Quality Assurance:
- Uphold high standards of quality throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that products and software meet or exceed customer and industry standards.
- Coordinate with QA teams to facilitate testing and validation processes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Report regularly on project status to senior management and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in Project Management and Logistics Management
- Experience in expediting, expediting, and inspection
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lead a team and motivate team members to achieve project goals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
- Experience in Information Technology (IT) projects is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in project management within IT, focusing on product and software development.
- Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile certification.
- Experience in software development or product management roles.
