Pupils Trap in a Three-Storeyed Collapsed Building in Lagos

A three-storeyed building has collapsed at Ita Faji, Lagos Island leaving many primary pupils trapped in the rubbles, InsideOjodu reports.

This incident was confirmed to have occurred around 10a.m on Wednesday.

InsideOjodu gathered that the ground floor of the building was used for primary school and pupils were in class when the building collapsed.

According to an eyewitness, Prince Adams, he confirmed that about 10 pupils had been rescued from the rubble.

He added that, “It is terrible. Parents are crying. I can’t withstand the gory sight.”

Meanwhile, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency and other rescue team were already on ground.
