Salary Range ₦100,000 – ₦150,000/month
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met
- Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in–house quality procedures, standards and specifications
- Adherence to customer service standards and quality requirements of raw materials from suppliers and vendors
- Investigating and setting standards for quality, health and safety
- Ensuring that production processes comply with standards at both national and international levels
- Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
- Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information
- Checking and sorting with proper grading of receiving items
- Monitoring and checking of close to expiry products for removal on shelf by store team
- Ensure proper hygiene of environment and staff with quality check of all fresh production (food) before display for customers
- Receive and welcome government/regulatory officials on visit/inspection
- Handle customers complaints with immediate corrective measures
- Monitor HACCP PLAN
- Ensure all local food, cosmetics carries NAFDAC numbers and all imported food cosmetics are on global list.
- Conduct internal audit on all product and department daily, weekly and monthly whilst ensuring no expiry food in the supermarket.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Prefer to have a minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience of relevant role in retail environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Technology, Human Nutrition, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry or related field(s)
- Relevant Food Safety Culture and Hygiene Certification(s)
