Job Summary
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for juice quality, food safety and hygienic and safe production environment in line with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- To ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards in the production of quality product and implement quality control processes.
Responsibiliites
- Conduct several product tests and assessments.
- Identification of product defects and record and report discovered issues.
- General monitoring of activities in the company premises including cleaning, hygiene, workplace ethics and safety.
- Preparation of chemicals needed for all analysis.
- Physiochemical analysis of juice and water.
- Assit in quality control supervision of the production line.
- Adhere to the company’s quality control SOP
- Carrying out Microbial Analysis.
- Data entry of all analysis carried out.
- Ensures compliance to NAFDAC, SON and other government agencies regulations.
- Design, update SOP & prepare documents for QC/QA purpose.
- Ensures 100% compliance to all quality standards.
- Ensures continuous leaning and development and keep abreast of recent juice and beverages quality standards.
Education and Work Experience
- Degree in Food Science and Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or related field from any reputable university.
- Relevant certifications in quality, food safety, HSE, or ISO standards and training is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 1-3 years relevant experience in quality control, quality assurance and food safety in a Juice and Beverage production plant.
