Role Purpose

  • We are looking for detail-oriented Reservation Agents to assist our customers with their booking needs.
  • You will provide various planning and booking services, including answering customers’ questions, making travel suggestions, and booking rooms and tickets.
  • To be successful as a Reservation Agent you must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Additionally, you should be able to up-sell and have excellent knowledge of deals and savings available to customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from a variety of travel options.
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the customers’ desired travel dates.
  • Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
  • Processing payments and sending confirmation details to customers.
  • Answering any questions customers might have about the reservation process.
  • Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing customers of additional services or special packages, such as tour tickets, travel insurance, or upgraded seats/accommodations.
  • Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.
  • Enquire, explore and study different travel destination options
  • Research destinations and travel prices, customs, weather conditions, reviews etc.
  • Enquire and study clients’ specifications and wishes
  • Suggest suitable travel options that best suite clients’ needs
  • Plan and organize travels and tours for clients
  • Book tickets, reserve accommodation, organize rental transportation
  • Inform clients and provide useful travel material such as guides and event programs
  • Offer and promote different services and offerings of the group
  • Keep learning about the latest travel information
  • Attend webinars, conferences and other educational programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Visit corporate organizations for travel business
  • Increase the customer base of the organsation
  • Track KPIs and prepare KPI reports

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Degree in Management or any relevant Degree, with a minimum of 6 years working experience.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English Language.
  • Should have proven good decision-making, negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of the company’s product
  • Commercial awareness and a balanced unbiased view.
  • Revalidating tickets according to the existing policy.
  • Accumulating the air miles for the members
  • Knownlegde of the use relevant G.D.S( Amadeus and Sabre)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite.
