Responsibilities
- Ensuring total compliance to the company’s laid down policies, rules and regulations
- Training staff in line with general restaurant procedures
- Maintaining safety and ensuring compliance with food quality standards at all times
- Ensuring customers’ satisfaction are always maintained and complaints are handled in most efficient manner
- Organizing employees’ work schedules and ensuring strict adherence to duty rota
- Keeping track of employees’ working hours
- Managing inventory to ensure there’s no shortage of supplies while staying within approved budget limit
- Supervising daily shift operations
- Coordinating daily front- and back-of-house restaurant operations
- Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste
- Appraising staff performance
- Interviewing/recruiting new employees
- Interacting with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
