Sales Manager Port Operations at Kobo360

Who are you?

  • You’ll drive our growth, sales and customer relationship management efforts of our e-logistics operations business in terms of clearing & forwarding, transportation, distribution and port related business.
  • You have very good knowledge of logistics operations for large conglomerates and would leverage on your network to secure and manage customers.

  • Strong negotiation skills: A track record closing out win-win deals.
  • A deep understanding of the logistic operations industry and its players.
  • Data analysis skills- including analytics, measurement, tracking and more.

  • Entrepreneurial, curious, and highly proactive behaviors are essential

You Will

  • Achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual Sales target
  • Generate leads and secure deals for our operations business (Clearing, Transportation, Distribution and other Port related business).
  • Lead client meetings and all negotiations.
  • Responsibility for pricing of each project and getting approval from Director Commercial / Executive Committee
  • Review all legal contracts and negotiate with client (legal team to support)
  • Ensure 100% adherence with BD policy and proper approval of exceptions, if any
  • Keep an ear to the ground and collect high quality information on competitors
  • Provide information for specific customer and/or market risks – adopt and follow the Kobo 360 risk framework
  • Lead and manage relationships with senior and mid level clients
  • Build new relationships and leverage to win new business
  • Lead and manage related Industry relationships which can help Kobo 360 win business

We’re looking for someone who has

  • 5 -7 years’ experience in Sales focused on logistics operations or large consumer-oriented brands.
  • Track record of success in generating new business.
  • Quick, outside-the-box thinking with strong problem-solving skills; ability to comprehend and communicate complex issues succinctly and clearly.
  • Great communication & negotiation skills
  • Innate interpersonal skills; collaborative customer-first focus, adaptable, comfortable with change
