Sales & Marketing Manager at Kerildbert

Purpose of the Position:

Contribute to the organization’s success by consistently promoting services to clients and negotiating contracts to maximize profits while maintaining the company’s high standard of service, quality, and ethics.

An Overview of the Job Description

  • Drive sales and marketing across all channels.
  • This role will plan and implement sales & marketing strategies that will gain business in all our service areas.
  • Organize and operate with the daily itinerary of the sales team.
  • Find, coordinate, and execute ad-hoc marketing events.
  • Manage all administrative tasks associated with sales and customer engagement.
  • Produce weekly/monthly sales activity reports to monitor and measure progress on the job.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Grow and manage existing customers across all channels
  • Build and manage clients’ databases and constantly engage clients.
  • Collate feedback from clients, produce analytical information to drive sales and impact the company’s service development.
  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance.
  • Research and recommend new opportunities, profit, and service improvements.
  • Liaise with other team members on how to generate more revenue for the Organization
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Head of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing.

  • Sales / Marketing experience within the Freight Forwarding Industry and Supply Chaim M
  • Proven record of growing business and starting new accounts.
  • Ability to make quick, smart business decisions.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and Presentation Skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.

Qualifications

  • 3- 5 years of professional work experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development in Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Management
  • Bachelor of Science / HND in Social Science or other related field. A Master’s Degree would be an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Relevant experience in Freight Forwarding & Supply Chain Management, Haulage, and Logistics is desirable and of good advantage during the selection process.
