Sales Operations / Customer Support Officer at Erisco Foods Limited

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager with sales and customer support
  • Responsible for all customer engagement pertaining to the company’s products and services.
  • Respond to customer queries and provide guidance with purchasing decisions
  • Interface directly with customers either physically or virtually – calls, social media, emails – in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain current knowledge of all company products, services, and promotions to ensure prompt response to inquiries.
  • Track, resolve, and document customer issues – follow up with assigned personnel to ensure timely resolution of problems
  • Responsible for the preparation of customer activity reports – maintain daily records of customer activities (inquiries, comments, complaints, interactions, transactions, and resolutions).
  • Collect and collate relevant information from old and new customers for the company database.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Assist in determining pricing schedules for products, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed sales records
  • Ensure up-to-date customer data across all data management systems
  • Reach out to customer leads through “cold calling”
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members.
  • Develop, implement strategies and analyzing all sales tools/data to improve sales.
  • Collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
  • Monitoring customer satisfaction level.
  • Assisting the sales team in all sales operations.
  • Streamlining and optimizing the sales process.

Job Requirements

  • First Degree (BSc / HND / OND) in Communication, Business, Administration, Marketing, or another related field
  • Minimum of 2 years proven work experience as a Sales Representative or similar role
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be proactive, show initiative, work with minimal supervision, and be eager to learn.
