Job Overview
- The Van Sales Representative / Merchandiser is responsible for driving a company vehicle to deliver products to clients, manage inventory, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- This role combines sales and merchandising functions to increase product visibility and drive sales growth in designated territories.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive vehicle to deliver products to customers within assigned routes.
- Maintain and manage inventory in the vehicle, ensuring stock levels are adequate and replenished as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while developing new business opportunities.
- Promote and upsell company products to meet sales targets and objectives.
- Merchandize products at customer locations, ensuring proper placement and presentation.
- Conduct market research and provide feedback on customer preferences and competitor activities.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- NCE / OND / SSCE with 2 – 4 years experience.
- Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management.
- Familiarity with the local market and customer base is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry products and materials.
- Frequent driving and standing for extended periods.
- Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
